Dr Patricia Lucas

My primary research interests are in the reduction of inequalities in health and wellbeing in early childhood.  My background is in Psychology and this informs my approach to my work as a behavioural scientist.  I am interested in mixed methods approaches, combining qualitative and quantitative data in systematic reviews and in primary research to inform policy decisions.  I often work within interdisciplinary teams; I have collaborated with colleagues across Medicine, Engineering, Law, and Arts and was a member of the University of Bristol's Institute for Advanced Studies for 5 years.
