Personal profile

I am a Lecturer in Politics with Quantitative Research Methods at the University of Bristol. My research interests include the political economy of institutions, corruption, and development. I finished my Ph.D. at Harvard in May 2013.

Research

I am interested in political economy and comparative politics, especially the study of corruption, rent-seeking, economic development, and financial crises.

Teaching

At Bristol I teach units on quantitative research methods and political corruption. The two research methods units I teach in are SPAI20014: Conducting a Research Project Using Secondary Data (second-year undergraduate), and Advanced Quantitative Methods (MSc level). In addition, I am also offering the third-year unit Political Corruption.
