Personal profile

I am a Lecturer in Politics with Quantitative Research Methods at the University of Bristol. My research interests include corruption, rent-seeking, and financial crises. I finished my Ph.D. at Harvard in May 2013.

I am interested in political economy and comparative politics, especially the study of corruption, rent-seeking, economic development, and financial crises.


At Bristol I teach units on quantitative research methods and political economy. The two research methods units I teach in are SPAI20014: Conducting a Research Project Using Secondary Data (second-year undergraduate), and Advanced Quantitative Methods (MSc level).
