Personal profile

Before coming to SPAIS I worked for 11 years on a joint professional postgraduate programme between the University of Bristol and University of the West of England.  My role was as Strategy and Teaching Co-ordinator, based within the Aerospace Department, Faculty of Engineering.

For the last 7 years I have also worked as a staff/student mediator for the University of Bristol, helping people in dispute reach resolution.

For four years of my time at the University I worked three days a week as a teacher and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator in a young offenders prison.

I joined SPAIS as Student Administration Manager in October 2010 and my main responsibilities are:

• Progress Tutor - including monitoring attendance and processing suspensions and extensions
• Disability Officer
• Timetabling
• Managing the undergraduate and postgraduate Offices
