Teaching

  • I am co-lead of the 'Urgent and Emergency Care' Student Selected Component (SSC) for 3rd and 4th year medical students at Bristol Medical School. I also run workshops for PhD students in both the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Social Sciences & Law on 'Using Mixed Methods' within their doctoral research.
  • My teaching work has previously involved tutoring undergraduate medical students on the 'Society, Health & Medicine' course provided by the School of Social and Community Medicine as well as supporting postgraduate psychiatry students in the Centre of Academic Mental Health during their Royal College of Psychiatry examinations.
  • As an Honorary Teaching Fellow at Cardiff University, I have delivered lectures on research methods, critical appraisal skills and the sociology of medicine in addition to providing tutorial support to both medical and social science undergraduates.
