Margaret is a Professor of Medical Statistics with a PhD in prognostic modelling. Her research interests include methods for modelling missing data, longitudinal data analysis, survival analysis with competing risks, life expectancy and joint modelling of biomarkers and time to event data. She is co-Principal Investigator with Jonathan Sterne for the Antiretroviral Therapy Cohort Collaboration which collects data from cohorts of treated HIV positive individuals in Europe and North America in order to investigate prognosis. Biography

Margaret has worked in the School of Social and Community Medicine since 1999. Previously she was a Senior Lecturer in the Mathematics Department at UWE, Bristol. She is keen to collaborate with HIV researchers across the globe particularly if they live near mountains and enjoy skiing!
