Dr Maggie Evans


I completed my first degree at Oxford University gaining a BA Hons in Human Sciences, which was later up-graded to an MA. My early career was spent at the Institute of Child Health, University of London engaged in longitudinal research into maternal and child welfare during pregnancy and post-natally. I then worked as a Research Officer for service evaluation in third sector and social servces departments before joining Bristol University in 1989. I started within the Department of Child Health and then moved to the Centre for Academic Primary Care. I completed my PhD at Bristol in 2009 and now work as a Research Fellow across a range of projects.
