Summary

Biography

I am an infectious disease mathematical modeller based in Population Health Sciences at the University of Bristol. I am currently working on mathematical models of hepatitis C virus (HCV) and HIV transmission among high-risk populations, including people who inject drugs, female sex workers and men who have sex with men. Specifically, my work focusses on modelling the impact and cost-effectiveness of scaling up prevention and treatment interventions to reduce prevalence and incidence of HCV and HIV.

I completed my PhD in 2018 at the University of Bristol. The focus onf my PhD was using mathematical modelling to analyse the role of incarceration in HCV and HIV transmission amongst people who inject drugs and the potential impact of prison-based interventions.
