Dr Gemma Morgan


I obtained my primary medical degree from the University of Oxford, graduating in 2007.

Following Foundation training I joined the public health specialty training scheme and obtained an MSc in Public Health (with distinction) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine where I was also awared the Chadwick Daley prize. In 2010 I was awarded the Faculty of Public Health Michael O'Brien Prize for performance in the MFPH examination; I am a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health.

In 2012 I was awarded an NIHR Doctoral Research Fellowship and received my PhD in 2016. Having completed specialty training in public health I have been appointed as a consultant senior lecturer and consultant in public health medicine since 2018.
