Dr Fran Carroll

My research interests include maternity care, decision making (including patient preferences) and health economics.

My PhD was titled "Decision making associated with antenatal screening for Down's syndrome" and was completed in 2011.  This was a mixed-methods PhD, incorporating a quantitative survey, qualitative interviews and a discrete choice experiment (DCE).

I have been involved in several health care related projects, covering topics including childhood illness, depression and vaccinations.

I am currently working at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) in London, but continue to hold an honorary post at the University of Bristol where my involvement in the INFORM programme is ongoing.
