Dr David Carslake

I am a Population Ecologist by background, with a PhD on the spatial dynamics of wildlife infectious diseases (University of Liverpool, 1999-2003) and postdoc positions studying cyclic rodent populations (Centre d'Etudes Biologiques de Chizé, France, 2004-5), size-structured population dynamics in laboratory water fleas (University of Exeter, 2006-8) and cattle disease transmission (University of Warwick, 2008-2010).

I came to Bristol in 2010 to work in the MRC Causal Analyses in Translational Epidemiology centre and now in its successor the MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit. I am a statistical epidemiologist with a particular focus on family linkage methods.
