Summary

My PhD (funded by the NIHR-SPCR) is focussed on urinary bacterial resistance to antibiotics in children. Our primary aim is to explore the relationship between previous exposure to antibiotics in children and the isolation of resistant bacteria.

My main research interests are antimicrobial resistance, infectious disease and primary care.

Biography

Prior to starting my PhD, I completed my BSc (Hons) in Infectious Diseases in 2009 at The University of Edinburgh. I then went on to complete an MSc in Public Health Research at the same institution in 2010.
