Research summary

Clinical psychopharmacology and neuromodulation at North Bristol NHS Trust is an interdisciplinary clinical and research group that researches  clinical questions in the area of how drugs and neurosurgical interventions affect the brain in psychiatric disorders.

My research specialises in the human use of clinical psychopharmacology and neuromodulation in severe and chronic treatment resistant depression and other affective disorders. In addition I have a track record in the use of neuroimaging to understand the neurobiology of psychiatric disorders.

An example of one such study has been examining regional brain changes associated with deep brain stimulation in treatment resistant depression.
