Research summary

Alice has two methodological interests and areas of expertise: using meta-ethnography to synthesise qualitative research findings; and the use of cognitive interviewing techniques.

META-ETHNOGRAPHY: Alice has led on two NIHR funded meta-ethnographies and currently acts as an advisor on two studies wishing to use meta-ethnography as part of a wider systematic review. The ESOPS (Bristol) study is a meta-ethnography of men's support care needs after a diagnosis of prostrate cancer. Biography

 

Alice Malpass, PhD, is an NIHR Research Fellow who has worked as a Research Associate at the University of Bristol since 2003 and in the School of Social and Community-Based Medicine, University of Bristol since 2006. Alice joined the Academic Unit of Primary Health Care in 2006 as a research associate and progressed to the grade of Research Fellow in 2011.
