In July 2016, I completed a practice-as-research PhD thesis at the University of Bristol (Diasporic, Domestic Ethnography in Documentary Film Practice) under the supervision of Dr. Jacqueline Maingard. From 2014, I held a film and TV lectureship in the Department of Film, Media and Creative Computing at Bath Spa University, before joining the Department of Film and Television at the University of Bristol in September 2016.
