I am a Research Associate in the Department of Philosophy, having obtained my MA in 2011, MPhil in 2012 and PhD in 2016. 

I am the winner of the Prize for the Best Doctoral Research Thesis 2016/17 for the Faculty of Arts, University of Bristol. 

I have been the organiser for the International Society for the Philosophy of Chemistry Annual Conference 2018.

I am a coordinating editor of 'Foundations of Chemistry'.

I am an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

In addition to my publications, my forthcoming publications include "Some late phlogiston theories, the debates on theory choice in Germany 1787-1798 and implications concerning pluralities and pluralisms in chemistry", which will be included in the collected volume "Chemistry: Philosophical Investigations. Proceedings of the ISPC Paris Conference", edited by Jean-Pierre Llored. They also include the article by myself, James Ladyman and Vanessa Seifert, "Reference to chemical elements and compounds" which will be included in the collected volume on the concept of chemical element, edited by Elena Ghibaudi and Eric Scerri.
