Research summary

I have been conducting research since 2006 between North Africa and Europe on the social and intimate dimensions of migration, and, more recently, on those of economic crisis and Arab revolutions. I conduct fieldwork in Morocco, Tunisia, and Europe, and write on Mediterranean migrations, cosmologies of movement, gender and mobility, Islam, kinship, and political imagination, ethnographic theory and method.

Biography
