Research summary

I like to model nonlinear quantum optical process, such as parametric interactions that can be used to generate single photons. I pay particular attention to cavity-based systems and coupled cavities, as well as higher-order dispersion and the validity of cannonical quantum optical models in these setting. I believe drawing on the framework of Gaussian quantum information, but introducing non-Gaussian operations in measurement allows us to more completely model and understand the states we generate in the photonic setting, where only a small number of photons are present.
