My research interests focus on the application and development of tools and techniques which harness the strengths of diamond colour centres as single photon sources, and solid state-photon interfaces for use in quantum optics. I am also interested in investigating the spin properties of the negative charged nitrogen vacancy centre which allows manipulation and readout of a single spin system at room temperature.
