Research summary

I use the CMS detector at the CERN LHC to search for new physics at the energy frontier, in particular production of dark matter.  All we know about dark matter at the fundamental level, is that it possesses mass.  Motivated by this, I am exploring the relationship between dark matter and the Higgs boson, which is fundamental to generation of mass for the known Standard Model particles.  I am therefore testing whether the Higgs decays invisibly, which would be an indication of dark matter production via a Higgs boson.

I am also interested in searches for exotic long-lived particles.  Using ...
