Research summary

Dr. Döndü Sahin is a Lecturer in the Quantum Engineering, with expertise semiconductor and superconductor physics, non-linear physics and III-V and II-IV fabrication technologies. She obtained her PhD in Applied Physics from the Technical University of Eindhoven. During her PhD, she worked on the pioneering experiments on waveguide-integrated superconducting nanowire single photon detectors which paved the way for integrated quantum photonics. Before becoming lecturer, she was with QETLabs as a Marie-Curie researcher at the University of Bristol.
