Part description |
A data projector and a 35mm slide projector are used during this performance. Both were provided by the venue, the Arches. Both projectors are located low down in the space, projecting directly onto the rear screen. Richard believes he himself may have used a piece of card to block the beam thrown by the data projector, when videos were not being shown. Richard has a strongly negative opinion of the screen. The projection screen, he suggests had an important role to play, it was intended to have a quiet presence for the audience. Instead, Richard suggests it was actually large, dominating and slapped in the middle of the space. It is not what Richard would have wanted; he would have preferred a smaller, collapsible screen. The screen was angled toward the audience, placed fairly far forward in a deep space. |
