Summary

Biography

Shreya joined Bristol in September 2017. She teaches on the Constitutional Rights, Public Law and International Human Rights Law courses. Her research is on discrimination law, human rights, feminist theory, poverty and disability law.

Before joining Bristol, Shreya was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute, Florence in 2016-17 and a Hauser Postdoctoral Global Fellow at the NYU School of Law, New York in 2015-16. She completed her BCL with distinction and later DPhil in Law on the Rhodes Scholarship from Magdalen College, University of Oxford. She has served as the Chairperson of Oxford Pro Bono Publico, a leading public interest organisation based at the Oxford Law Faculty in 2013-14. She is currently an academic affiliate of the Oxford Human Rights Hub.
