Research summary

Jule is a European Comparative lawyer who has widely published within the field of European, International and Comparative gender equality law and Comparative methodology. Her new project on consumer vulnerability (funded by the Leverhulme Trust) analysis the EU concept of vulnerability from a theoretical and comparative perspective.

Jule Mulder joined Bristol Law School in September 2015 as Lecturer in Law (Since 2018 Senior Lecturer). Before that she was a Lecturer of European Law at the University of Leicester. She completed her PhD, entitled EU non-discrimination law in the Courts - A multi-layered comparison of juridical approaches to (in)direct sex and sexualities discrimination in EU law and its implementation in Germany and the Netherlands, at the University of Leeds in October 2013.
