Dr Cian Murphy

Dr Murphy's research and teaching interests lie in the relationship between collective power and individual rights and the role that law plays in that relationship. His current writing focuses on the dynamics of transnational law and their impact on legality. He sits on the Committee of the American Society of International Law Mid-Year Meeting and Research Forum 2019. He is also the editor, with the late David D. Caron, of the Elgar Research Collection in Transnational Law, due for publication in 2020.
