    This chapter considers the potential criminal liabilities of health provider organisations, for manslaughter and health and safety offences. In particular it explains the significance of and analyses the new offence under the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007. The elements of the offence include: the threshold question of which organisations are covered, the relevant duty of care, when an organisation may be culpable, and what penalties they may face on conviction.
