Biography

Bronwen Morgan was appointed Professor of Socio-Legal Studies in August 2005. Previously, she was the Harold Woods Research Fellow in Law at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies and Wadham College, University of Oxford (2002-2005), and a Tutorial Fellow and University Lecturer in Law at St Hilda's College, Oxford (1999-2001). She has a PhD in Jurisprudence and Social Policy from the University of California at Berkeley and a law degree from the University of Sydney, where she worked as an Associate Lecturer after working at the High Court of Australia.
