Welcome to Professor Stuart Candy from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico

Professor Candy is visiting Bristol as a Benjamin Meaker Distinguished Visiting Professor and will be here from the 15th May to the 15th June.

Professor Stuart Candy is a futures practitioner, educator, and artist dedicated to the development of a culturally embedded capacity for thinking ahead. He is the Director of Situation Lab in Los Angeles, USA, and Distinguished Visiting Professor of Critical Futures in the School of Architecture, Art and Design at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico City. Professor Candy will be collaborating with Professor Helen Manchester, Professor Keri Facer and Dr Paul Clarke in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences on From Experiential Futures to Social Foresight.
