Recruitment and selection training


Regular user training sessions are available to book on through the Staff Development Website. This is a practical hands-on session for staff in Schools and Divisions who will be regularly working with HR to process job vacancies on the eRecruit system. The session covers general navigation around the system, how the recruitment workflow operates and inputting short-listing and interview outcomes on line.

We are currently offering specific courses and resources aimed at any hiring manager at UoB to give you the necessary knowledge and confidence to run effective recruitment campaigns on behalf of the University. These will help gain a clear insight into how to put together effective selection criteria, successful interview and selection techniques, the answers to common issues and questions as well as focussing on what diversity means and the legal framework that underpins it.
