Miss Vitalie Duporge

I am a PhD research student in Human Geography. Through my work, I am exploring the non-representational and affective experiences of people living and learning in ecovillages and its implication for thinking through non-formal and embodied approaches for sustainability and environmental education.

I hold a BA in Spanish from the University of Nottingham (2013) and an MSc in International Development from the University of Bath (2016). In previous years I have lived and worked in ecovillages in both Spain and New Zealand, as well as being part of permaculture, youth sustainability, and sociocratic grassroots projects.

My supervisors are Dr Naomi Millner, School of Geography and Dr Keri Facer, School of Education.
