My role is Cabot Institute Manager, where I support researchers across the social sciences, sciences and engineering to work together to address how we live with environmental risks and uncertainty.  Our interests include natural hazards, resilience and governance, food and energy security, and engineering the future. Research in Cabot fuses rigorous statistical and numerical modelling with a deep understanding of interconnected social, environmental and engineered systems – past, present and future.
