Summary

Biography

My PhD research focuses on the multispecies nature of the problem of antimicrobial resistance. My research focuses on pet owners' beliefs about, and use of, antibiotics. I am using a mixed-methods approach, with secondary analysis and a quantitative survey project complemented by qualitative approaches.

From May to July 2018 I undertook a placement at the House of Lords Library, and wrote a briefing (Leaving the EU: Antimicrobial Resistance) that covered some areas in which the UK's departure from the EU may have implications for the addressing of antimicrobial resistance.
