I am working on the determination of the Antarctic mass balance from remote sensing techniques. I use a recently developed statistical framework  to combine the different datasets: altimetry, satellite gravimetry, and GPS and determine the main processes driving mass and height changes on the ice sheet (ice dynamics, surface mass balance, and GIA).

I completed my PhD in 2013 at the Technical University of Madrid (Spain), estimating the potential contribution of Svalbard glaciers to sea-level rise from ground-penetrating radar data and multi-variate scaling relationships. Afterwards, I did a PostDoc at INSTAAR in Boulder, Colorado, studying the internal controls of a tidewater glacier's dynamics (Columbia glacier in Alaska).
