Research summary

My research interests are concerned with exploring the biophysical basis of the EEG alpha rhythm as well as investigating its functional role in perceptual and cognitive processes. I find this field of research compelling because the alpha rhythm constitutes one of the most global and dominant signatures of brain activity, and yet many of its basic attributes remain untested and its significance poorly understood. Biography

Holding a BSc in Psychology from the University of Bristol and a BA in History from the University of York, I worked as a Research Collaborator in the School of Experimental Psychology at Bristol University before enrolling in the same school to undertake a doctoral course.
