Biography
I’ve been working here at CELFS (previously the Language Centre) since 1990, when it was just a small support unit based in a tiny room in the Graduate School of Education. Since then I’ve seen us grow, with applied foreign languages (AFL) added, and shrink again (AFL merged with Modern Languages). So now we just deal with English; I say ‘just’ – it’s enough to keep us busy! The last 20 years or so I’ve co-ordinated and taught on lots of different programmes; lately the main ones I’m involved in are the IFP and Pre-sessional EAP ...
