I’ve been working here at CELFS (previously the Language Centre) since 1990, when it was a small cottage industry enclave in the Graduate School of Education providing 'language support.' Since then we've grown (applied foreign languages added) and shrunk (AFL merged with Modern Languages), and grown again as English provision has diversified and expanded. The last 20 years or so I’ve co-ordinated and taught on lots of different programmes; lately the main ones I’m involved in are the International Foundation and International Graduate Programmes (IFP and IGP).
Outside work my main interest is in electronic, ambient and post-digital music ...
