Research summary
His interests are UWB, MIMO, channel measurement and characterisation, spatial modulation, and body area networks. He also has experience in PHY layer channel coding and antenna measurement and characterisation.
Biography
Will is currently working as a Research Assistant in the Communication Systems & Networks Laboratory undertaking research on spatial modulation in a collaborative project with the University of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University.
He undertook his PhD at the University of Bristol from 2007 to 2011, focusing on the characterisation of multi-antenna LAN and BAN environments, which was part funded by Toshiba Research Europe Ltd: Telecommunications Research Laboratory. The research was undertaken with supervision from Professor Mark Beach, Dr Simon Armour and with industrial supervision from Dr Rafael Cepeda.
