Research summary

I design, build and study the use of novel technologies to support public and social interaction. These include distributed, physically active, haptic, mobile and ubiquitous systems in a variety of settings, both in-lab and out 'in the field'. My primary domains of interest are currently in modern history, heritage and genealogy.

I lead the School's Interaction & Graphics Research Group.
