Biography

After graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Bristol in 2013, I spent 18 months travelling including 9 months living and volunteering in Nepal. During this time, I saw the impact that hydropower can have upon lives in remote areas. Once back in the UK, I developed my expertise by working for a hydropower company. I worked on the design and assisted with the installation of several mini hydro schemes in the UK. In 2017, I returned to academia to combine these experiences and find methods to ensure small scale hydropower continues to benefit rural communities.
