Biography
Dr Dimitris Agrafiotis is currently Senior Lecturer in Signal Processing at the University of Bristol. He holds an MSc (Distinction) in Electronic Engineering from Cardiff University (1998) and a PhD from the University of Bristol (2002).
Prior to his current appointment Dimitris was an RCUK Academic Fellow in Image Communications (2005 – 2010), a Research Fellow in Signal Processing (2004-2005) and a Research Assistant at the University of Bristol (2001-2004). He has worked in TSB and EU funded projects, including the EU FPVI WCAM project where his work on error resilience was singled out for high commendation by the European Commission ...
