Research summary

His main research interest is robust video transmission using dynamic cross packet FEC and multi-stream beamforming. He is also conducting research into indoor MIMO performance evaluation, 802.11 and LTE system simulation, and DVB-T/T2 system design.

Di Kong received BEng degree in Electronic Engineering from Southeast University in Nanjing, China in 2009 and his MSc degree in Communication Networks and Signal Processing from the University of Bristol in 2011. He has worked as a Research Assistant in Communications Systems & Networks Group for 6 months and is currently a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Andrew Nix and Dr Angela Doufexi.
