Zang (Nick) graduated from Nanyang Technological University Singapore with Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace) and Doctor of Philosophy in 2011 and 2016, respectively.  His research interest centers on the experimental investigations of the flow dynamics of vortex-rings and jets, development of high-fidelity numerical schemes in the study of high-speed compressible flows as well as aeroacoustics of lifting surfaces.  He joined the Fluid and Aerodynamics Group at the School of Civil, Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering in 2018. He current project examines the trailing-edge noise signatures and transition of high-lifting surfaces, under the supervision of Dr. Mahdi Azarpeyvand.
