Optimal adaptive estimation and control for vehicular powertrain systems

Research summary

My research interests focus on the dynamics and control of complex nonlinear systems, particularly in the optimal adaptive estimation and control for automotive powertrain systems. Recently I have been doing a project in collaboration with the University of Bath and TATA Motors European Technical Centre (TMETC) on torque estimation and air-fuel ratio (AFR) control for internal combustion engines (ICE).

Biography

I received the BEng degree (First Class) from Central South University, where my studies centred around transportation equipment and control, in particular with an emphasis on railway vehicles. In 2016, I obtained the MSc degree in Advanced Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol with the hightest grade among the cohort, after which I have been a visiting researcher at the University of Bath in collaboration with the Powertrain and Vehicle Research Centre (PVRC).
