Research summary

My research interests are primarily in the field of dynamics and control of complex nonlinear systems. Emphasis is given towards the optimal adaptive estimation and control for automotive powertrain systems. Recent work focuses on the imrovement of engine emissions and performance by developing a novel, robust, and easily-implemented control framework. The research is in collaboration with the Powertrain and Vehicle Research Centre (PVRC) at the University of Bath.

Biography

I received the BEng degree (First Class) from Central South University, where my studies centred around transportation equipment and control, in particular with an emphasis on railway vehicles. In 2016, I obtained the MSc degree in Advanced Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol with the highest grade among the cohort, after which I have been collaborating as a visiting researcher with the Powertrain and Vehicle Research Centre (PVRC) at the University of Bath.
