Dr Vaia Kalokidou


Vaia has graduated from the University of Reading in 2005 with an MEng in Electronic Engineering. Her final year project was based on WPANs ("Development of high level functions in a UWB system"). In 2011, she started her studies on the CDT in Communications 4-year programme at the University of Bristol . She has completed her PhD on "Interference Management Techniques for 5G networks" in collaboration with NEC, focusing on Blind Interference Alignment, Topological Interference Management and Non-orthogonal Multiple Access, in October 2015.

Since December 2015, she has been working as a Senior Research Associate in the Smart Internet Lab (CSN group) for various EU and UK funded projects.
