Biography

Tim Bond is a counsellor, educator and practitioner specialising in teaching research methodology and professional ethics (education, counselling, and research).  He continues to offer a small counselling and supervisory practice.

He is internationally renowned for his contributions to counselling and research ethics and particularly his interest in dialogue between different cultural and moral positions.

He has extensive experience of leadership, management and policy making in higher education and professional associations.

Teaching

Tim's main commitments are divided between teaching professional ethics, research methods and supervising students at masters and doctoral levels.

He teaches Current Ethical Issues, Individual Supervision, and Creative Group Supervision for counsellors, at masters level (MSc) and Ethical Issues in Education at doctoral level (EdD).  He also contributes to ethics on the professionally accredited postgraduate diploma courses in counselling.

Tim co-ordinates and co-tutors Understanding Educational Research at masters level (MRes, MPhil) and at doctoral level (EdD).  He co-tutors and contributes to a variety of units within the Narrative and Life Story Research line of study on the EdD programme.
