Ms Leanne Cameron


Leanne Cameron is a student in the University of Bristol’s PhD in Education program, investigating professional learning and sustainability in English language teacher associations in East and Central Africa. She recently completed fieldwork in Rwanda with the national English langauge teacher association.

She holds a Master’s degree in TESOL and her previous work has engaged with language learning towards social inclusion, service-learning, and social justice through previous positions as a teacher trainer with the U.S. Department of State in Rwanda, program lead and curriculum developer at California State University, Sacramento’s English Language Institute, and volunteer coordinator for English and literacy programs for resettled refugees through the Northern California office for the International Rescue Committee.
