More about this group

CR-GES examines the processes associated with the globalising of education, and what this means for the sector, for societies and opportunities for individual learners and teachers.  This means asking questions, such as:

  • To what extent does the globalisation of new forms of governance, such as Public Private Partnerships, change the public good nature of education?
  • In what ways does the global enter everyday classrooms, and can we generate new insights, understandings and tolerance as a result?
  • Is language a vehicle for globalisation, and what does this mean for minority languages, learning and identities?
CR-GES is a partner of Universities in the Global Knowledge Economy (UNIKE)
