Biography

Fumi Kitagawa works in research as part of the ESRC funded programme, Centre for Learning and Life Chances in Knowledge Economies and Societies (LLAKES), based at Graduate School of Education at University of Bristol.  Her main areas of research activities include:

  • Europe, Higher Education and Regionalism within the Models of Lifelong Learning and the knowledge society strand;
  • The Higher and Further Education Marketplace project within the Regenerating City-Regions: Learning Environments, Knowledge Transfer and Innovating Pedagogy strand.
