Research summary

My research is focussed in volcanology, with particular interest in volcanic hazard and risk. I am currently working with Sian Crosweller and Steve Sparks on the LaMEVE (Large Magnitude Explosive Eruption) database as part of the Volcanic Global Risk Identification and Analysis project (VOGRIPA). This database will provide a comprehensive record of large Quaternary and Holecene volcanic eruptions worldwide, and should prove to be a valuable asset to the volcanology and disaster-risk management community.
