My primary interest is the use of geodetic techniques (mainly gravimetry and GPS) to improve our understanding of magma transport and emplacement in the crust. I am particularly interested in the constraints of the sub-surface architecture and regional structures on the spatio-temporal variations in geophysical parameters during the evolution of large magma intrusions in the Bolivian Andes.
Further interests are the combination of different geodetic techniques to capture the continuous 4D volcano deformation field, and the study of the mechanisms by which large volcano flank and sector collapses are initiated.
