Biography

Currently, I am an active PhD student (Geology) at the University of Bristol. My research focuses entirely on Organic Geochemistry and part of the world-class research group of Organic Geochemistry Unit, School of Chemistry. I’m working on Mesozoic global warming particularly on the Cretaceous period. I determined to explore the hydrological change during the Cenomanian-Turonian Oceanic Anoxic Event (OAE2). I am using the dD values of higher plant (long chain n-alkanes) leaf wax extracted from the sediment of North Atlantic Ocean spanning before OAE2, across its onset and during its peak, at a variety of sites.
